CURRENT MISSION Explore Scotland ABOUT ME :) Born in the UK, but am a kiwi at heart. Caught the travel bug with a year working my way around Europe when I was 18. Fell in love with Spain and everything spanish. Returned to NZ to study zoology and psychology. Goal is to pursue a career in wildlife conservation, which has taken me to Africa and Borneo, and now back to the UK where I have just completed my MSc degree. My most recent travel adventure was cycle touring in Turkey, which was amazing. I'm currently in Norway to write up my dissertation, and then the plan is to move to Scotland to make the most of the UK's mountains while I job hunt. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Traveling is about meeting people that are different and discovering how you are similar. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My one-time couch surfing experience was a reminder of how quickly strangers can become friends. I hope I can offer the same hospitality when I have a couch of my own to provide!

Living in the jungle in Borneo rehabilitating a sun bear cub, being eaten alive by mosquitoes and leeches, but waking up each morning to gibbons and falling asleep with fireflies.
