ABOUT ME I’m a blend of two worlds: born and raised in Mashhad, Iran, but shaped by over a decade of living in Japan. I moved to Japan in 2006 to pursue my studies and earned my Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in September 2018. Currently, I am an Artificial Intelligence researcher for a Japanese company. Since I work remotely, I spend most of my time back in Iran, enjoying the best of both cultures. My academic roots are in medical AI—specifically using brain waves to detect epileptic seizures—but these days, my professional work focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP). I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I’m always happy to share my experiences from both Iran and Japan, or just have a great chat about life over a cup of tea. PHILOSOPHY Keep smiling and stay positive. Life is far too short for complaints; I prefer to focus on the beauty of the moment.
