About Me

I am a 22-year-old web developer , bartender and a tourist guide from the capital of Slovenia. I love to travel, meet new people, and have a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to experience the local culture in a way that no other way of accommodation can offer you. Meeting local is, in my opinion, the best way to experience local food, music, and other cultural characteristics.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is Pulp Fiction. Since then I have also enjoyed The Wolf of Wallstreet and the tv-show Silicon Valley since it has a strong connection to my field of expertise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a random Friday in the summer of 2018, I was having lunch with one of my colleagues. We were "brainstorming" about what are we going to do for the rest of the day. When it all of a sudden hit us! We should go somewhere we have never been to before. At that time we had purchased bus tickets to the Bavarian capital - Munich. We went there completely spontaneously and 100% unprepared. Because of the sudden change of plans, we didn't have anything on us that a normal traveler would have. The only things we were bringing with us on a trip were a phone and a wallet. The trip got us so excited that we forgot to tell our parents about our plans. My father called me when I was already driving past Saltzburg to ask when I was coming home for dinner. At that time we had realized the scale of our little adventure. So long story short... For the next two nights, we had slept in the English Garden park, charged our phones at a local McDonald's, watched people surf on the "Eisbachwelle" and did many stupid but at the same time unforgettable things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach my host something about programming or about computers in general since I think it's beneficial for everyone to know at least the basics of informatics. Other than that I can also be of use in some culinary chores. Since I'm a part-time bartender I'm way better with drinks than food. But nevertheless, I would love to make some great meals and drinks while having a good time with my host on the side.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my travel stories, professional expertise, previous Couchsurfing experience and a bottle of wine :)
