About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See as much of the world as I can.
ABOUT ME
My name is Zach. I'm a positive, and inquisive guy with an insatiable desire to experience the world and all of the beauty and culture it holds as thuroughly as I can. I try to be humble. I am mellow and respectful but still very adventurous, with a great sense of humor. I am open minded and up for anything. I like to wander and explore, party, go on bike rides, discuss, debate, try new things and enjoy my time. I hope that through this program I can better experience the cities that I am in with the unique knowledge and experience of its locals.
PHILOSOPHY
I am very actively concious of, and curious about the great mystery of "everything". I find myself most interested in the theories behind existentialism, but am always open to new ideas. I am endlessly amazed by the complexity, the size, and the symmetry of existence.
Interests
One of my greatest desires is to discover my passion. I am generally very interested in the world. I try to keep up on world events and learn as much about the landmarks and history of each country as I can. I read a lot. I enjoy art, film, theatre, philosophy, politics, hiking, bike rides, camping and skiing. I adore the outdoors. I will never really get over what a beautiful place we live in. I'm always trying to expand my perspective and gain a well rounded view of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh this list could go on and on. I'm a big fan of Stanley Kubrick and Wes Anderson's movies. I just love films, its joy to see or discuss them. As for music I'm a lifelong Beatles fanatic, and my favorite musician would probably be Conor Oberst. I really enjoy reggae and ska music, and generally have interest in all genres. My favorite books are Catcher in the Rye, House of Leaves, The Stranger, 100 years of solitude, and anything by Jack Kerouac just to name a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Waipio Valley Hawaii was most certainly the most beautiful place I've ever been. I was at peace in that beauty. The observatory on top of Mauna Kea gave me the most fantastic view of the stars I have ever seen. The complexity and depth in that sky is something that I will never forget.
