I grew up in England and moved to Portugal last year with my family. I live with my husband Tim, and my two youngest children Matt (11), and Amy (8). We live in a small village in rural Portugal now. The scenery is stunning and life is much slower and gentle for the children. I have started an International Alternative School here which I run throughout the term and Tim works on our land.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and often have to go to different Cities for work in order to find out about new educational projects, conferences, and training. I like to find out about other places and what they have to offer both culturally and educationally. I like to meet new people and exchange ideas and have interesting conversations. I also would love to learn more languages.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music and am open to most films other than horror movies. I like spiritual books.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Opened an International Alternative School in Central rural Portugal.
