ABOUT ME

I'm a fan of the references from fellow surfers (below). My excitement to meet and connect with fellow travelers and to welcome them into my home or be welcomed into theirs is usually enough to overcome my sometimes quiet nature. I love to trade travel stories, talk about plants and gardens and sciency kinds of things, along with lots of other stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to ride a camel around the pyramids in Cairo. The camel's name was Moses, and my ride on Moses made me feel very fortunate to be on such an animal in such a place.
