ABOUT ME

My name is Zoe and I have just returned to the UK after cycling from Zanzibar to Cape Town with my boyfriend. This was my first ever cycle tour. Before beginning this trip the most I had ever cycled was about 60km. It was, without a doubt, the trip of a lifetime.

In September, I start training to become a Steiner Waldorf teacher. But before then, I still have time for a few more adventures! My brother, Theo, and I are walking a section of the South West Coast Path in July. It's funny, I live in Devon, and yet there are places in Cornwall that I have never visited. So now, after exploring Africa, is the time to explore home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hoping to get to know the local culture of the places where I'm staying, make some friends along the way, and enjoy the spontaneity and vivacity of life on the road.

Interests

I enjoy simple pleasures. Staying up late reading, learning to dance, listening to live music, watching performers, cooking and baking, cycling and hiking, going off the beaten track. I love creativity. I love good company. I love good food!

Most of all, I enjoy connecting with other people, learning from them and enriching my belief in the essential goodness of mankind. I love to feel truly alive, not just existing, and so I am hoping to continue this adventure with you.
