About Me

CURRENT MISSION

becoming a good doctor

ABOUT ME

I am studying at the medical university, I like listening to stories and trying to understand why everyone is, who they are and why there are, where I met them :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone can show me something unique and captivating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted quite a few people and I loved it. It's amazing how the world, couchsurfers and their stories arrive at your door.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a member for about three years, thanks to CS I've seen some beatiful places, talked to many people, improved my language skills, in other words I recommend being open to this experience :)

Interests

I love travelling, hiking, reaching remote, beatiful places. Most of the year I am trapped in my room and surrounded by books so I know I have to make the most of my holidays. I'm interested in psychology and psychiatry.
I am also a fan of good books and movies, Scandinavia, conversations in the late evenings, Leonard Cohen, meeting new people, bicycle riding, cooking, logical puzzles, nature...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Social Network, Mechanical Orange, The Brightest Star, Black Cat White Cat
Music: S&G, Bob Marley, Joanna Newsom, Leonard Cohen, Kate Bush, Pink Floyd, Fleet Foxes and some Polish bands
Books: Anne of Green Gables (which I read a long time ago, but it's atmosphere is still haunting me (in a good way;))), The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, biographies, the books on the history of medicine by Jurgen Thorvald, the Moomins and Stanislaw Lem (a polish SF writer I deifinitely recommend!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I probably most appreciate nature, what comes to my mind is my trip to Norway. During that trip I have seen the purest, most distant from the civilisation, yet accessible places. Unfortunately in Poland camping in national parks is out of the question.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
