About Me

I am a believer of exploration, I don't wait for opportunities, I make them happen. I like talking to people and listening to them, I like learning from them and helping them learn something I know. I work with the communication industry, and so I interact with people of all kinds, which is why I've become sensitive to different culture and norms and have started to respect them more.

For me going out is important, exiting your shell is imperative for growth, which is why I like to travel and I like to start inwards out. my country has enough beauty of its own and so I made a local check list which I've completed, Its time to move out now.

I see the world as a global village, I see a border-less world when it some to ideas, the internet has made the world so approachable, and I think international travel gives you the same power.

I like creating ideas, ideas which are not thought of yet, ideas that are not culture specific, ideas that can change human behavior as opposed to a community behavior. And for that i need to see what going around the world, how are things similar and why are they different.

We're all humans, we see, think and act the same way to common issues, but our cultures have great effect on how we react to problems or situations, to look for the commonality one has to know cultures better.

My ambition is to build a community of travellers, a community of people who think beyond borders, who think human, who want to do more than just life...... people who want to merge cultures by uniting them with their common issues and make the world seem like a borderless place, a global village.

Sharing physical means is difficult, they get confiscated by the custom people many times, what they cant hold back are the intangibles, the learnings, the exposure, the ideas and the thoughts that you've learned and brought back home as souvenirs that can be shared with other global nationalities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a people's person. I cant live alone, hotel rooms are luxury but they haunt me, because the only life in there is me myself.

I need people whom I can share and who have stuff to share back to. Couchsurfing is a community of hospitable people, and I come from a country which values hospitality very much.

This is medium which helps people learn from eachother, It is a place where you can share passions, and help other people travel too. I am a communication professional, my command on spoken and written English might be use for numerous of people around the globe, similarly my ideation process can be further evolved as I get to see more cultures in depth.

To study and know about a culture in dept, its always advisable to live in reality as opposed to the fantasy, and so to me, hotel and hostel rooms are a mere fantasy. You don't get the true taste of a country unless you tour around with a local. And thats why I believe couchsurfing is a good community to be a part of.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to folk and fusion music now, the music band I love the most are the Corrs.
Tom Hanks I believe is a phenomenal actor, I don't miss any of his movies, particularly the ones based on a myth or legend. I dont have a favourite book I like biographies of people, and books based on urban legends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I and my friend started a small local tour startup, we take people on musical tours, we've bought the hippies culture of the 70's back to the travel genre.

We're redefining the road travel in Pakistan by creating musical tours, now underground bands travel with us, people looking for a musical escape have joined us and for us this is a passion earning us money too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am staunch believer of this ideology, So things I can teach are:

Looking at the bigger picture
Culture understanding
communication ethic

south asian recipes
translating bollywood movies

I would like to host people in my country too, I want to repay the favour of hospitality.
