Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people and have the opportunity to travel everywhere.
I prefer travelling on my own and to connect with local people. Couchsurfing allows me to reach people easier and reassure my mum that I’m not lonely 😂
I first made a couchsurfing account in 2016 when I was 15 and wasn’t allowed to travel alone. This has always been my dream. Raised in Europe with little exposure to the lifestyle of different countries makes me want to see how other people live!
I actually first used couchsurfing when the ATM sucked my card in when I was in Turkey and I was left with £10 for the rest of my trip. I got hosted by Kamil and he was the most incredible person. It started off my journey on Couchsurfing so positively and I’ve been using it ever since :)
The internet doesn’t posses as much power as a local!!
