About Me
Hello all CSers out there, I'm new here. I would describe myself as a very easy going and kind hearted human being. I love meeting new people, sharing experiences with others and learning about different cultures. I am always up for a conversation and value other's opinions. I am a very well-behaved person who believes that we are all the same at our core and I respect all differences in humans such as race, religion, gender and nationality. I always put my hands out to help people who are in need of it and the smile on their faces makes me really happy. I always make sure not to interfere someone else's space and expect the same in return. Thats only a few things about me, and the rest when we meet :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So, I'm here on couchsurfing because I feel like there are so many places on this beautiful planet I have never been to and I want to experience at least some of those in this short life. I had the opportunity to travel few countries so far, but those travels were mainly business trips, so didn't get much time to enjoy most of it. Now, I'm at a stage in my life where I feel stuck with my past. So, I have made a decision to break those shackles and set myself free. I hope couchsurfing will help me to meet the awesome people out there, get inspired by their stories and cultures and get on such adventures I never thought I would do in my life.
Interests
Explore new places on earth and meet new people and I truly believe it can change me as a person.
I have interest in Photography, I have a DSLR and just bought a GoPro and I'm loving it..:)
I must say I'm addicted to beaches, I always find time to hit the beach. I believe its one of the few places on earth where you can calm your nerves for free, experience the music composed by the waves, have a swim in the vast ocean and where else can you be part of a better sunset? Also, plenty options for amazing photography..!!
I am learning Spanish, just began a few weeks ago and I hope it helps while I'm in South America and Europe.
I am an active member of Internations Community and meet a lot of people from all over the world every weekend at their events.
I practice yoga, not regularly though because of my work schedule, but I'm really keen on practicing it more frequently as I understand the benefits of it.
I am a huge soccer fan, I follow all the major soccer leagues and love to have a chat with someone who has similar interests.
I like cooking, I can do a bit of both Indian and Western Dishes..not an expert cook though :)

It has to be the Sky Diving over the Palms in Dubai. 14000 ft and almost a minute of free falling..!! Craziest thing I have ever done.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well....Gandhi once said, "My life is my lesson". I am not Gandhi, but I can definitely share my experiences with you guys and I believe thats the most valuable asset we all have in our lives.
There are a few things in particular I have to mention,
1) I grew up in India in early ages and I have been living in Australia for 7 years now. So I am quite familiar with both cultures and people and I can share my knowledge with anyone who is interested. You will be amazed to hear some of the stories I have..!!
2) I can teach the languages I am fluent at, especially English and Hindi, I will be adding Spanish to this list soon :) and if there's a host out there who can give me a bit of Spanish lessons, I will be really grateful.
3) I started practicing yoga recently and I am hoping to gain expertise on it eventually. I can teach you basic Namaskars if anyone is interested in it.
4) I'm into photography, I love taking pictures and if anyone keen learning about photography and cameras I could help you with that.
5) Cooking - Like I said before, I can cook a few dishes and also I can be a good kitchen hand for you :)
6) I worked as a Field Engineer in Oil and Gas Industry for 3 years, so if anyone out there who is wondering "How the hell do you dig out this much petrol and gas from underground?" - I have the answer for that in detail and very interesting manner :)
