Since oil was discovered in the area decades ago, the city of Dubai has grown at an insane rate. With a skyrocketing economy, the city is now a major business and transport hub of the Middle East. Dubai has grown so much that these days, tourism has replaced oil production as the city’s main source of capital. Many would describe Dubai as glamorous, from the manmade tourist islands just off the coast, to the ultra-modern skyscrapers in the city center, to the pricey supercars zooming all over the city.

Visitors can spend a day of perfect sun and warm sea air on a boat excursion in the Persian Gulf, and spend evenings in a dance club in the city center. Enjoy food from all over the world, drinks made from the finest spirits, and meeting other travelers who are just here to have a good time. For a relaxing day of recovery, take yourself shopping at one of Dubai’s impressive malls or a traditional souq (open market), and then head to one of the several public beaches to kick back and recharge your batteries.
