About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet and work with interesting people.

ABOUT ME

I love to travel and get to know as much as I can about the place, local people and culture. I'm interested in local architecture

PHILOSOPHY

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
-
At the moment I can really associate with this quote. Finishing my college days i found myself on a crossroad, with a decision waiting to make - what to do next. I chose the obvious way, but who knows what's waiting round the corner:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not have a couch available at the moment, but I am working on it. For the time beeing I can hang out with potential couchsurfers that find them selvs in my region. I can give them advice on interesting sights or show them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, if you don't count occasional surfing at my friends couches.

Interests

Architecture and design, cultural and historic heritage, landscape and nature. Curious about lifestyle of the youth in other countries. I spend my spare time volunteering at civil organisations, organizing and participating in civil initiatives concerning urban space and society in my home town. Also I enjoy eldless walks, or bike rides in the countryside..

Music, Movies, and Books

I use my spare time to read books. Crime novels are my favourite, but I also like books with a historic note. I enjoy pop music. The movie that really touched me is 'The Intouchables'(2011), a movie fighting prejudice with a strong positive note. I love Serbian cinematography so I'll mention a movie 'The Parade' (2011)describing Balkan 'state of mind' in a funny and intelligent way, and ofcourse a hillarious comedy 'Mrtav 'ladan' (2002). A definite must see!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't count them all, but nature shore has it's way of amazing us..
People can also contibute and surprize by personal engagement in things which aren't strictly of their interest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy descovering new cities and places. As a classic tourist you get to know only one version of what is there to offer. Having someone 'from the inside' to guide you, host you and share things you cant read in the travelguide is a very precious opportunity. So this is most deffinitly more interesting way of trevelling.
