ABOUT ME
Hey!
I'm Maria Celeste, an Italian 29 years old woman, born and raised in Bergamo, close to Milan.
I'm a joyful, creative and positive person, always seeking for the best in the people I meet. I really love meeting new people and sharing opinions, ideas, projects.
Curiosity is my 3rd name, thus I'm interested in different many subjects, sports and hobbies. I had classical studies, then explored the wonderful world of Biotechnologies and then decided to dedicate myself to environmental applications, e.g. bioremediation.
****** OCT/NOV 2022 - At the moment, I'm staying near Inverness for a month, carrying out a research project for my PhD in water treatment. Happy to meet hosts and other travellers to explore the area :) ******
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to get to know a fragment of the essence of a place, a culture, with local eyes and mind. It's an effective way to diversify the feed of people that we normally get to know in our everyday life and make our journey even more interesting :) !
Interests
Above all, I enjoy discovering, exploring. I love getting to know local cultures, histories, cosmovisións and I simply enjoy learning, from anyone, about almost anything haha! And sharing as well the knowledge I was given so far.
Same for natural places, I crave for good quality time in nature and different ecosystems, unraveling its beauty and mechanisms and wonders.
I really enjoy chats and jokes, good food (cooking too haha), listening to new music and a long list of activities for indoor and especially outdoor entertainments :) !
