Overview
About Me
I'm French but I live in the Netherlands for 4 years now with my partner and our baby girl. I don't travel as much as i used to now but thanks to my job ( I'm a cheesemaker) I get to go back to France from time to time to visit colleagues.
It's hard to be objective about one's self but I'd say that I'm a simple person, enjoying the little pleasures of the daily life. Food for me is always a moment of celebration that I love to share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because this is part of the adventure :) And because I feel grateful for all the people who opened the doors for me. Now is my time to open mine
Interests
I studied organic agriculture in the Netherlands and lived in a green campus where students share an alternative way of living based on a philosophy that include more nature in our daily life. Everything that is related to agriculture and community based is very interesting to me. When I have the chance to travel I try to understand how people live, what is important in their daily life and what have built their history. Cultural or sportive activity have both equal interest.

Music, Movies, and Books
A classic : I've seen Forest Gump maybe 10 times
And regarding books Bernard Werber and Jean Christophe Ruffin have always been good virtual co-travellers
About music : it fluctuates with mood, my hormonal cycle and the weather forecast. But Joe Dassin never deceives me .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the first time I drove on the left hand side in England. Actually the first time I drove on myself, with a big landrover and a sheep to take to the vet. quite a lot of adrenaline when you just got your driving licence.
Another moment I like to remember is this amazing couple of doctors who opened their door to me and my friend after a long day of walking without asking any question, just offering a warm bed and such a good dinner. We were exhausted, the day was declining but the last house we tried was the good one and it helps now when having hard time to keep in mind that there might always be somehow a reward for every effort and preseverance.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A nice room for two to three people, a good meal or drink, family life, forest walk and lots of berry picking in the warm season. We make crepes very often.
