I read a ton. My favorite poet is Mary Oliver. Other writers I love are Barbara Kingsolver, Elizabeth Gilbert, Seth Kantner, Robert Frost. I love music. Some of my fave musicians/groups are Josh Ritter, Greg Brown, the Be Good Tanyas, Feist, Trampled by Turtles. . .
One Amazing Thing I've Done
In December 2012, I rafted the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and was simply amazed every day at my good fortune to witness the changing colors of the canyon walls as the sun set each evening!
My Interests
I'm happiest in the woods, hiking, skiing, and bird-watching. I love to read, write, run, practice yoga, see live music, garden, pick berries, harvest wild rice, make strawberry jam and maple syrup. I enjoy good coffee and conversation, and making connections with folks. I love to learn and expand my horizons.
