About Me

Well, here I am!
I'm passionate about a lot of things. I like helping others, changing perspectives, thinking long and hard, I love animals (however insects are not my favorite species).
I have a philosophy degree, however i do not smoke sigars while rubbing my beard.
Currently working as an "Orthopedagoog" (read: kids, families, disabilities, difficult situation at home,...)
I spend my spare time volunteering in a music centre, accompanying and entertaining kids and teens on summer/autumn/winter/spring camps, babysitting

I have a serious disability that is known as "dad-jokes-syndrome".

I like to spend time in a book store drinking coffee, with a cat nearby.

Always learning more about the wonderous world of unconditional parenting, non-violent communication, and supporting parents through their journeys in parenting... However I do not have kids myself, just cats and a lovely fluffy bunny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Wanderlust just hits me sometimes.
Instead of impersonal hotels I love the idea of getting to know a local, connecting, ...

I've recently decided to take some time to get away from the daily rush and get more in touch with myself through traveling. The dream is to discover Australia without spending all my savings. And without being eaten.

Interests

I love pets and all animals who are fluffy or cute or crooked or chubby.
Studied philosophy so yeah, I question things, it can be annoying. Mostly for myself.
I love going to live concerts in intimate settings.
I love reading a book in a bar with a coffee. Or 2.
I've been dancing for most of my life. Trying to let go off other people's expectations on how I need to perform.
I've encountered some Crossroads or rather dirtroads in life pushing me into soulsearching, pattern breaking, life shaking introspection and made search for ways to live life more fulfillingly. Holistic approaches and meditation have been great treasures on that hunt.
