Overview
About Me
People describe me as being frank, nuanced, and open-minded. If required I always try to think out-of-the-box to overcome human's natural reaction to categorize and judge, and I can say that I am generally widely interested.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This platform is an amazing way to get in touch with international people to learn from each other, sharing ideas and visions digitally as well meeting each other face-to-face.
Interests
Culture in a broad sense, societal issues, philosophy, geography, psychology, international politics and relations, having long conversations with a balance between learning/information sharing/and laughing, food (to cook and to eat), languages, sports (particularly football), and of course travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: indie rock, lounge, new age, singer/song writer, some jazz and blues, and world music.
Movies: I prefer documentaries, or truth based thrillers/drama
Books: informative books about geopolitics, contemporary (international) societal issues, history, and culture.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been fortunate to have travelled quite a lot and those trips loaded me with beautiful experiences in doing amazing things, crazy actions, and meeting intriguing people. Some moments that pop up on my mind now are the following: spending the night in the Wadi Rum dessert in Jordan under thousands of bright sparkling stars; being present at the evening prayer in a mosque in Palestina during Ramadan, followed by a delicious iftaar; flying a small airplane myself; saving a drowning old man from the rough Indian Ocean; wandering Australia in a small camper.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always very eager to hear people's stories, experiences and perspectives on life, as I would be open to share mine with you. When travelling, I always would like to get as much information as possible of the surroundings, people's lifestyles, and habits, history, and so on. If you'd come here and interested, I would like to inform you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
