About Me
Hello fellas,
Welcome to Vietnam! Very nice to meet you (although I cannot see you) :D
I am a fresh Urban Design and Planning undergraduate from Oxford, United Kingdom. I am passionate about architecture, fine art, psychology and philosophy so if you share the same interest, we'll have great time annoying each other *wink*. But I love learning new things so teach me anything you know and love and I will do the same.
My friends said that I am friendly, funny and a bit crazy (I think my craziness is getting worse after 4 years in Oxford) and helpful. I like meeting people and having fun but not wildly partying and forgetting my way home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been very fortunate to couchsurfed and helped many CS friends through my best friend. Now I decide to try out CS myself and learn to step out of my comfort zone by traveling to new places and meeting new people. I think the best way to travel is to get to know the city via the locals and what could be better than making friends all over the world.
And I live by the motto: 'As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters'. Hence, I want to spice up my life with unforgettable stories of people I meet and places I have been.
Interests
I like outdoor activities, reading, drawing and playing music and singing. :D Besides I'd also love to cook and experience them on myself. Luckily I'm still alive and grow more love for cooking. :D
I like reading books in philosophy, psychology, architecture and inspirational stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I study Urban Planning and Design so I often do projects involving helping poor people building homes/schools/ and other community project. I felt incredibly rewarding every single time they said 'thank you' for showing them how to make their life better by doing simple things. And I also learn to be loving and sympathetic with people when I get to know their lives.
Besides, I also had some unforgettably crazy experiences, too, like:
Spending a day getting to know the slumdwellers in Rocinha, one of the largest slums in Rio de Janeiro. Knowing what's like to be amid a police raid and running away from gunshots in one of the most dangerous slum in the world. But me and my mates still got mugged in the slum later on. It was crazy and thank God I am alive.
10 days later I went sailing and swam with my lecturer's family without knowing they were raising a crocodile in the river!
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe my greatest ability is to learn, unlearn, and re-learn. I aspire for knowledge in any fields. I like feeding my brain with international cuisine. 👌
My current favourite brain food is architecture, urban design, art, philosophy and psychology.
I like reading so when you send me a request, suggest me an interesting book you have read recently or a story. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will show you cool places in Saigon and if you are interested, I will take you to some bars and coffee shops where my band performs. I can cook Vietnamese food, and sing, and drawing so I can teach/share with you all of that. 😁😁😁
