ABOUT ME

I am originally from Lithuania based in Denmark. My previous home was Copenhagen, but now I am moving to another place to study. Still in Denmark.

I prefer active life - traveling, meeting new people, going to different events. Sometimes I need to keep still: to reflect, dream and set goals. It recharges my energy.

This is the way I see myself. But our self-judgement is not always the most objective, so others eyes can see a more realistic image. From my friends I can usually hear that I am a very happy, optimistic, conflict-free, easy-going person.

PHILOSOPHY

"Don’t worry about coloring within the lines or coloring outside the lines – I say color outside the lines, you know what I mean? Color all over the page; don’t box me in! We’re in motion to the ocean. We are not land locked, I’ll tell you that..." - and that's how i feel about my current life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in London, Edinburgh, Rome, Paris, Brussels - all of these were amazing experiences.

I'm on couchsurfing for the feeling of freedom, the unexpected and opportunity to discover local life and outskirts. Couchsurfing leaves room for the daily surprise that colors our lives with long-lasting memories.

Interests

I have a need to be engaged in various activities and I am always up for trying something new.

My current interests that I am passionate about:

I LOVE dancing, love watching others dancing. Dance is not just movements for me - it's a spirit, passion and an important part of my life. I love Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Swing, Boogie-Woogie, Collegiate Shag, St. Louis Shag, House.

I like playing volleyball, but I am not a professional player.

I like doing some design with Adobe Package, some video montage. But I am just a beginner and I do it for my
pleasure.

I like being a part of organizations. During studies I belonged to ESTIEM and Youth Journalists networks.
Now I volunteer in different swing dance festivals, organize Copenhagen Lindy Exchange.

I am currently fascinated by the human brain and thinking, that's why I have recently started Cognitive
Science studies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music.
I like a lot of different music styles, but on `the top of my playlist would be indie rock, folk, (electro)jazz/swing,
rock'n'roll, different kinds of rock, 80's, house.

Some of the bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Queen, MGMT, Hozier, Crystal Fighters, The Beatles, Damien Rice, Katie Melua, Oasis, The Script, I am arrows, The Lumineers, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Benny Goodman ..and tons of others. :D

Movies.
I enjoy both funny and serious films. I prefer films with a deeper meaning. I adore Woody Allen films. IMDb
list's films are always a good choice for me.

Books.
I prefer psychological, personal development books. Professional books - , brain science, neuromarketing /
consumers neuroscience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Didn't find a regular job after I graduated and let my soul to wander!

I can teach you an optimistic lifestyle enclosed by some mysterious stuff, lindy hop or collegiate shag dance steps or some other strange jazzy moves. I can share what I know about our brain. Also, I can cook something traditional.
