I am Nigel Li from Hong Kong.

I would describe myself as someone who is  direct, honest and ambitious. I hate liars. I am fun loving, down to earth and very much Optimist. 
I am a progressive thinker that respect each person’s space and values. I'm very open to ideas , likely to follow anything that steals my focus.
I am passionate about traveling and meeting great people from around the world. I do believe that we are here to share and learn from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CouchSurfing is one of the way to interact with other people. I know I would had a chance to know much more variety of human beings with the same approach to others, to travels and to world.
I wanna participate by letting people stay with me when I have the time and the space, and by surfing other peoples couches when I'm being a homeless bum, which I thought was the point.

First time i know CS was reading a travel journal on a forum.
I have been hosting and hosted by another once.
This is a great channel to meet new friends and i found CouchSurfing is not just a way to travel, it is a manifestation of sharing love selflessly.

Interests

I love trekking, going on trips with friends, listening to acoustic music and watching latest movies.
My list of hobbies includes reading, playing guitar, playing football,basketball, biking,hiking,cooking, listening to music, traveling, and visiting theaters, museums, and areas of historical interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer work in Nepal(future village). I enjoyed with school level students and interacted with villagers. Being friends with those kindness local teenagers was the greatest moment. I involved on cultivates with farmers and having typical Nepali food. I took surrounding the future village area and enjoyed a lot with natural beauty. They stayed with me in 8 amazing days.
After two years, in 2015, i went back to this mountain area village that have been seriously damaged by the earthquake. The sadness was seeing 90% of the house broken but the amazing thing was that when i arrived, my local friend just show me his new family member which was 3-day-old new born baby!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Cantonese if you want and can cook you Chinese food if you want.

I want to learn different languages and cultural things.

I can share my travelling story with photos and videos.
