About Me
Greetings. I'd describe myself as a down-to-Earth guy, although I am permanently in seek of discoveries. A voracious explorer of new sensations and worlds.
I'd love to know more about different people, different places, different cultures. Though I might come off as shy, maybe a bit eccentric, I am nonetheless kind and receptive to others (or at least I try to). No modesty —I am a fairly good listener.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hold the belief that one can't really know a country unless you meet its people. This is something rare to accomplish from guide visits or the reared security of a hotel. Certainly not the kind of tourism I buy into.
I learnt about Couchsurfing in 2013, a time where I had my first experiences. I found it to be a fantastic idea, one I would like to nurture and contribute to.
Interests
I consider myself an aesthet, fond of trekking and dwelling around nature —to observe the trees and flora, the different animals; to wallow in the silence. Sooner or later I'd love to give alpinism a try. I play football and hoop, even though I suck at both. Same goes for chess.
An avid consumer of art in its formal multiplicity. Passionate about history and philosophy. Devoted oneironaut who jots down his every dream. Sporadic drug user.

Music, Movies, and Books
Literature, I enjoy more than anything: from classics in the likes of Dostoievsky, Mann, Flaubert or Céline to emergent writers like Houellebecq or Knausgard. Keen on videogames, single-player RPGs and graphic adventures above all.
Varied music taste. Started off with metal, climbed up to post-rock and electronic. Currently delving into folk music (Nick Drake, Momus). A handful of names: Neu!, Kayo Dot, Boards of Canada, Autechre, Burzum, King Crimson, Jandek, Slowdive, Grimes, Camel. Et cetera.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not many awe-inspiring deeds in my book. I did manage to get a short story published though.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am basically up for anything (even for nothing, if the host is busy for any reasons.) I can teach Spanish and attempt to cook food from my country. Hold conversations, play sports, share lofty meals in restaurants, watch film, read aloud, take a hike, play table games, go partying... you name it.
