Hi, I'm Raphael, a Mexican-born world traveler who managed to break off the chains of the local economy in order to start earning a global wage by freelancing.

Right now I'm the writer, photographer, editor and founder of A Journey of Wonders, an online travel magazine as I make my way around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to 43 countries (updated August 2014) and so far I have seen both the best and the worst in terms of human behavior. However, the bad experiences will never outweighs the good ones as I believe in the goodness and the kindness of strangers.

I've swam with sharks and boarded down an active volcano. I've climbed Pyramids and crawled under war zones. I've lived life to the fullest and my plan is to continue to do so.
