Hi, I'm Raphael, a Mexican-born world traveler who managed to break off the chains of the local economy in order to start earning a global wage by freelancing.

Right now, I'm the writer, photographer, editor, and founder of Journey of Wonders, an online travel magazine, as I make my way around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to 76 countries, and I have seen both the best and the worst in human behavior. However, the bad experiences will never outweigh the good ones, as I believe in the goodness and kindness of strangers.

I've swam with sharks and boarded down an active volcano. I've climbed Pyramids and crawled under war zones. I've lived life to the fullest, and my plan is to continue to do so.
