ABOUT ME

FIRST THINGS FIRST!! WE DO NOT LIVE IN NICE! I CANNOT CHANGE THE CITY, BUT WE LIVE ONE HOUR OUTSIDE OF NICE IN THE COUNTRY. OUR PLACE IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO VISIT NICE OR THE COAST.
We are open-minded and tolerant people.

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever works...I have survived great tragedy in my life and it has made me a better person. I think people need to do what they need to do to survive and try to be happy. I don't judge people anymore, I try to understand them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We had been hosting couchsurfers for 4 years without being on the site. This is because a lot of people, cyclists in general, get lost in our village. So we feed them and give them a place to stay overnight. They are generally very surprised, but accept, and we have met some really nice people.

I love to read and to chat. I am very involved in my work and don't have a lot of free time.

Too many to mention. I am a book person. I hate screens (despite having to use a computer every day for work, like most people) and have banished TV from my house for the last 30 years,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Without a doubt, the best thing we have done is try to raise our kids to be responsible and happy people.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can show anyone who comes here the fabulous produce that comes from our local farmers : meat, cheese, eggs and especailly veggies. We buy local. We eat our own garden food in season.
We love to cook, we love to drink, we love to eat, we love to share food.
