About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get out of the mindset of believing what I know from growing up in the same place. To travel to experience culture, different landscapes, history, the way other places run things, social injustices faced, and social welfare of other countries.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho who is trying to figure out what I want from life. I have been living in Lesotho for over a year and will be here for another year. I am originally from around Orlando, Florida. I studied social work at UCF. I want to continue into a career that I am passionate about. I strongly believe in doing something that I don't feel is work but doing it because I love it and want to make a difference. Before I settle though, I want to travel. I have only traveled to a few places outside America but am beginning to do so more while I am living in Lesotho.

PHILOSOPHY

Unless we go out and see what the world has to offer, we are stuck in the mindset society has created for us. Until we see the world, our ideas of what is, are not ours. When we go out in search of what the world has to offer, then we come to know who we are and what we believe.
