About Me
Hi guys! I’m Anne-Sofie. I’m born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark but I love traveling all over the world, meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I finished a degree in journalism in May 2019 and after I began traveling around both in the US and all of Central America for about 9 months alone. I couch surfed many of these places and while couchsurfing I got to experience how great of an experience you can get, if you get to meet and know the locals and the places the locals go to - you definitely get a more authentic experience of new places. That's why I absolutely love this community! I experienced through CS that there are kind-hearted and open minded people everywhere in this world. I felt so lucky meeting so many amazing people/hosts and I would love to host people whenever I get a home, that is big enough to host travelers.
I love getting to know more about other cultures and ways of living life to get inspired and see that there is beauty and kind people all over the world. I’m a very outgoing, open and curious person. I hope to meet lots of fun and great people on my way. Feel free to send me a message in case you're in Copenhagen, needs advice or want to hang out :)
Ps. I don’t use CS as a dating app or anything in that way. It’s purely friendships and great experiences I’m seeking through this great network.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always loved to meet new people and learn about other different cultures. This is a big part of why I’m traveling. Through Couchsurfing I get to meet more of the locals and experience a deeper understanding of the place I’m visiting.
Music, Movies, and Books
A lot of different kinds!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are so many. One of them must be when I traveled all around Australia for 10 months after finishing high school, not to forget my amazing travel through Central America by myself! I'll never forget this chapter of my live.
Another thing I need to mention here must be my pilgrim walk. I walked alone from France to Spain on the Camino de Santiago more than 3 weeks. It is the most amazing thing ever and I can’t stress it enough. I met so many incredible people with each an interesting and unique story to tell, explored the nature and got to know myself even better by doing this walk alone. I love traveling alone because I feel like I experience everything a little more, when I get to talk more to new people and get to learn new people on my way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Storytelling and I’m also a great listener. I also love cooking, gardening and pets especially dogs and cats but also all other animals and at some point in my life, I would love to live on a farm with lots of different animals!
