My name is Shonika and I love to travel! Since A very early age all I've wanted to do is explore the world and meet people and have new experiences that I can share with my friends and family back in Chicago. I've very rarely had a constant home for more than 5 years so moving around was never a new construct for me. Since being in Europe (this is my first time out of the country!) I've developed a voraciousness for seeing as much as possible, even if sometimes my funds won't allow for it. So far I've only explored part of Europe, but it is with a hopeful heart that through the Couchsurfing collective I might be able to see more!

Intereses

Photography, music, and travel are my biggest interests and passions. Currently I'm an aspiring photographer so I still have a much to learn in that field, but I can already say it drives me. Even though I'm not a musician I can say that without music I'd be dead right now, if I can't listen to music at least part of the day I usually get depressed. Travelling around the world was something I believed to be out of my grasp at least until I was older. Luckily I was able to change that due to a great set of circumstances and now it's a bug I can't get rid of!
