I'm Mareike, I just graduated in the field of international relations and I am doing an internship in Bonn, Germany at the moment. I have always been in contact with international students during my studies by volunteering at the Erasmus Students Network (ESN). By this and during my exchange year in Portugal, I got in touch with many incredible people from all around the world and I can't wait to get to know many more interesting people. I'm very open and talkative, interested in your stories, like to have a wine and nice food!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Since I'm not good in doing nothing for a while, I travel as much as my budget allows me, mostly meeting friends inside and outside of Germany. And still, there are many places on my bucket list I haven't seen yet. Knowing that there is no better way of getting to know a place and it's unique vibes than by a local, I love the whole couchsurfing idea! I just had this experience twice and I'm looking forward to meeting many of you - great locals out there soon!

Living for 10 months in Portugal was definetly the greatest experience - by getting to know many amazing people from all over the world, seeing some of my new favourite spots on earth and in the end also getting to know myself a lot better!
