Hi I am Lieve, a most-of-the-time-optimistic-dancing-and-skipping-girl who is trying to add something to the world around me. I am trying to always offer an open door, kind words and fun times for my friends and family. Thoughtfulness and consciousness for the world. A smile and a helping hand for everyone who needs it. And who doesn’t need a smile? A stray and nuzzle for the cats, some water and small talk for the plants (even they need that). And last but not least I add: some really yummy recipes (i I may say so myself. Most of the time I am occupied being a Pedagogical sciences and primary-school-teacher-college-student. But I rather be a storyteller of children’s books at festivals (little time occupation, big time dream).

What more is there to tell about me? I am just a little sprocket in the universe, maybe not even more than a grain of sand, but a milion grains of sand make a wonderfull beach or a sandcastle and I like to think I am a part of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So I can create a sandcastle with people all around the world and sit with them on the Beach of the Waal (where I live) or on any other beach where you may live. Talk about things you care about and maybe about things you want to care about even more. So I can show you the beauty of my city and you can show me the city through your eyes and ears and vice versa. So I can learn from you and hopefully you can learn from me. So I can contribute to a place called earth.

Walking the mountains in Slovenia and brushing my teeth in the moonlight on the most amazing place on earth.

I can dance with you like there is no tomorrow, we can shuffle all night long. We can enjoy the little things toghether like beautifull weeds on the streetcorner, cups of hot tea, reflection of the clouds in the water.
I like to that I am not a terrible cook and maybe a bit of a spicesmagician.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook really nice curries, look at your world with my point of view and show it to you. Sing songs together, make some music. Laugh and tell not really good, but also not terrible jokes. And next to it all I hope to share peace.
