Hello, I'm Fabio, I was born in Portugal, but lived the first decade of my life in Zurich, Switzerland, before moving back to Portugal.
I've been on Erasmus in Zagreb in 2016/2017, then I moved to Warsaw, Poland, a city with which I fell in love, the moment I steped on it during one of my erasmus travells.
After living there for two years, I worked in Wolfsburg, Germany for about a year and moved to Finland mid-Corona to pursue a new professional dream. To become an Early Childhood Teacher.

I used to play futsal in a local team as well.
I like to be active, it keeps me sane.
Recently I've been developing my music skills as well, I'm a beginner at the piano and in latin percussion.

My strongest characteristic is my positiveness.
I am a very active person, who loves to meet people and to travel to get to know other cultures. and places.
I'm very open, honest and (I think) adaptable. Even intolerance I can tolerate.
In my regular life (when possible) I practice Macrobiotics. It's a whole food based organic diet, who exludes things such as animal products, sugar, chemicals and processed food. I'm happy to share my knowledge and talk about it :)

I used to host people on couchsurfing, until it became what it is, and now I'm trying to find an alternative to continue expanding my connections.
Right now I live with my Polish girlfriend Basia.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I can say that the first reason why I joined couchsurfing was, indeed, sparing money. But after I tried it and after I met so many people from different countries, I just want to do it to meet people, who can show me the special parts fo their own culture, of their own city or country. People I can share my own culture with, people I can share my thoughts and people I can offer my time.
Our life is made of connections, I want to have as much as possible, everyone has something good to exchange, that's what I'm looking for, enriching myself and enriching your life experience.

Intereses

As I already said, I love sports, specially Football, but I also do Snowboarding and I play Tennis. In the summer we play often Beach volleyball. In the winter we can ice skate every day.
I love hiking and being in the nature as well.
