About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Nicht weil es schwierig ist, wagen wir es nicht, sondern weil wir es nicht wagen, ist es schwierig.

ABOUT ME

It is needless to say that i like to travel ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

There are no coincidences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now I haven´t had the chance to host many people. But whenever it is possible, I try to surf in the country or town I'm traveling.

CS is a great chance to meet nice and interesting people, to learn about other cultures and to see the world from another point of view.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only surfed a few times, but each time it was an enriching experience for me. Especially when you are traveling alone, this is a good opportunity to come into contact with others.

Interests

Being in my garden an watch the bumblebees crawling on the blossoms makes me happy :-)

  • reading
  • traveling

  • geocaching

Music, Movies, and Books

Ska, Balkan Brass, Blues, ... depending on my mood sometimes this or sometimes that...

Irving "Until I find you", W. Moers "Stadt der Traeumenden Buecher",

Actual I'm reading a book by M. Haushofer "The Wall", very interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm always very impressed by the landscape and nature.
Some amazing things I saw while I was traveling:
the endless steppes of Mongolia, a shiny blue glacier cave inside a rigid and silent frozen Baltic Sea, the scenic coast of Portugal,...

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to make a lot of things you are using every day myself. So I started making my own soap and creme. My first try to make german "Sauerteig"-bread failed ;-) But if you had a goat at home, I could show you how to milk it and to make very tasty cheese :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Croatia, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania, Mongolia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Latvia, Romania, United Arab Emirates
