About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Milano, Livorno, Firenze trip March 3-15
ABOUT ME
I work and live in Jacksonville, Florida. I recently planned a trip to Italy with my Dad and sister to visit family in Livorno. We are flying into Milan March 3 and my Dad (Marco) and Sister (Corey) will be leaving March 8. I will be in Italy until the March 15 and am looking for things to do in Livorno and surrounding areas. I'm interested in a lot of things. Hiking, biking, kayaking, bars/nightclubs, shopping, art and architecture. I know my family will occupy a lot of my time but I'll make time to relax as well and I wouldn't mind exploring Livorno and meeting new people! My dad, sister, and step mom will be coming and my dad is from Livorno. He moved here when he was younger and started a family. I don't speak very much Italian but I know a little and some basics and understand it pretty well.
PHILOSOPHY
Live free or die.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A friend I work with is doing this for a trip to Seattle and I thought I would see what I can find. Travel web sites generally suck and aren't giving much insight to travel in Livorno, specifically in March. I'm looking for people in my age range and with similar interests.
Interests
live Music, travel, reading, movies, theatre, cooking & good food, coffee, boats and water sports, running, camping, the beach (i have always lived right near the ocean), foreign and exotic cars, hanging out with friends and family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survived a horrible car accident without a scratch. I'm incredibly fortunate as I lost a close friend. I'm ok but the experience has obviously changed my perspective and outlook on a lot of things. I have to see more and do more and connect with people.
