About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Live, To Learn, To Grow, To Follow My Own Road...oh, and to pick up some AA Batteries for my Camera.

ABOUT ME

I believe the best parts of traveling are the interesting,
inspiring, adventurous people you meet along the way. I love to travel not just to discover new places, but also to make new and lasting friendships.

I am a very curious person and nearly EVERYTHING interests me. I can be serious, philosophical and passionate, but you'll usually find me acting light-hearted and enjoying myself. Comedy, joking around, smiling and laughing are a great part of who I am and what I enjoy most in the people that I meet and connect with.

PHILOSOPHY

Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at the word itself. MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean?! It's a mystery...and that's why so is mankind.

=) really though...

EARN each success/advantage/experience in your life so that you APPRECIATE it that much more...and keep your chin up during the hard times...Art and Character are born from struggle, pain, and the courage to move forward through both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Anyway I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met my love through CS (though we are both a little hesitant to admit it.) I was traveling from Austria to Italy and looking to meet with people to get some real "Italian" experiences. I met Masha in Verona one lovely evening for a glass of wine, and our story developed from there! Thank you CS...you brought LOVE into my life!

I was lucky enough to host a couple of great guys while back home in NM. Pierre-Jean and Julien brought their Segways and exhausted bodies to my family's farm in Chimayo, and spent two nights including P.J.'s birthday with us. It was one of their last stops on a North-South trip across the U.S. on their Segways, and I'm hoping one of their best.

Interests

Music, films, literature, photography, most sports, taking a long walk in a beautiful environment, listening to live music, drinking a cold beer with an old/new friend, having a wild night out on the town, or just sitting on a park bench on a sunny day listening to my ipod as the world passes me by...I can truly enjoy almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the most amazing thing I've done is what I'm doing right now...leaving my country on a whim to travel around Europe, never knowing what the future will bring, going through each day experiencing a life I never could have dreamt of, meeting friends I never knew existed and now cant imagine living life without.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach you anything you can learn from me. I am willing to learn anything you can teach me. I will share all that I have, even if it is all that I have.
