ABOUT ME

my feet take me where i need to go. i don't make plans- they never seem to last. my theory is that life is an adventure, so make it one! most of my life has been dedicated to serving others in various capacities: AmeriCorps VISTA, College Advising Corps member, and now a community organizer/youth worker. often times you'll find me in the woods dancing with the trees. i dig music, especially if its being played right in front of me. i make breads and bagels (i own a company Sunshine Bagels), and have an uncanny obsession for gaudy jewelery. i record my life through a series of poems. Every year i ask for rhythm for my birthday.... i have yet to receive it. if i could hug the entire world, i would in a heartbeat. i used to live in alabama, and have an affinity for southern things (perhaps that's why i married a southerner). i've been to three other countries and almost all 50 states. smiling and laughing are my past times, and my kitty zappa is my best buddy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

started out surfin in virginia with my former sidekick ben during the obama inauguration. for a time, i was apart of a pretty rad collective of couchsurfers from the albany/troy area. since then i've been hosting mainly (every time i travel i end up someplace where i know folks and don't need to couchsurf!) looking forward to expand my surfin horizons as my feet continue to guide my journey.
