About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling in the Balkans for a couple of weeks
ABOUT ME
I like to think I'm a pretty fun person who enjoys life and most of all, connecting with people. Not very original, but I do love food and music. I love to dance to live music or great DJs (house/lighter techno) in particular. It makes me happy 😊 I work as a media adviser for an international NGO, so I'm passionate about human rights and immersed in global politics and news. I love to travel and to get to know new places through the eyes of locals. I also love to read a good novel.
PHILOSOPHY
Pretty much treat people how I want to be treated. I like to think I treat people the same, no matter their position in society or amount of power. Everyone is equal.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love, love and love. Music taste is pretty varied, depends on the mood, moment, weather, etc. In the last few years I've gotten into electronic music, house in particular. Love to dance.
Movies, I'm a bit of an arthouse snob! Love foreign films and to learn about different cultures through film. Dramas, in particular.
Books, love to read. Generally prefer novels, for a bit of escapism. Again everything from chick lit romantic books on beach holiday to 'proper literature'. One of my faves is Grapes of Wrath, John Steinbeck is great. Prefer books that are easy to read, I don't believe reading for pleasure should be hard work.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked in humanitarian emergency contexts including Ethiopia, South Sudan, Iraq, Bangladesh, Turkiye, Palestine.
Teach, Learn, Share
Love to learn to cook new dishes, local to the place I am. I guess I could teach someone to cook, but as we don't have Australian cuisine as such, it would be random things from other cuisines! Love to learn about the place I am travelling, of course. Play a little bit of piano. I can teach English...maybe some Japanese, Spanish, French! I can give lots of travel and life advice (haha) and tips for great places to go.
