About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to LIVE all the days of my life.
ABOUT ME
I'm generally a happy person, always getting restless and moving around the world to indulge an endless curiosity inside. I've been a camp counselor at a pretty quirky camp for the last 5 summers, so basically it's my job to have fun.
PHILOSOPHY
i live to explore, to make as positive an impression as possible, to happily pass my days on this interesting planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i am new to the official couchsurfing community but I've been staying on couches since highschool as a way to travel around seeing old friends. It seems like a great way to find new ones too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was introduced to couchsurfing during my stay in Mexico last spring. Through a friend who hosted a weekly vegetarian potluck I met a constant thread of interesting and lively people.
Interests
people, I like to see how we all fit together and why we do the things we do. yoga, anywhere and everywhere. the history of the world. i love to dance, taking classes or just dancing around in the grocery store. good books. languages, I'm working on Spanish and French, I've got a pretty good handle on English. photography. surfing, I like it but I'm not so great at it.

Music, Movies, and Books
books: welcome to the monkey house, le petit prince, the boy in the striped pajamas, elegant gathering of white snows, pride and prejudice
movies: i am a sucker for romantic comedies. but i really like anything except horror films, which i avoid.
music: anything acoustic, CSNY, ray lamontage, iron and wine, kenny chesney, bob marley, ray charles, billie holiday, dispatch, simon and garfunkel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In a life where everything is an adventure one thing doesn't stand out above the rest. I've been lucky enough to visit a lot of places and meet amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
i am a wealth of partial knowledge. I am not terribly talented in any one area but have plenty to share about various things. I would love to learn to surf better and to speak different languages, I'd love to practice French and Spanish or pass along what I already know. I know a little capoeira but would love to learn more or teach what I know.
