ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old and I'm in my 4th year of college, studying abroad in France at the moment. I have dreamed of traveling and studying abroad since I was a mere youngster and, FINALLY, my time has come and I am fulfilling my dream!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is fascinating. There is so much wonder to everything and, even if everything may sometimes seem disconnected and different, it is the joy of either finding those similarities or embracing those differences that make it all worthwhile. We are all equal under God and we all deserve to be loved.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined the CouchSurfing community! I had heard about it before but I thought I had to have a couch readily available and, traveling in France at the moment, I don't. However, one of the people I met here told me to join, seeing as I'm traveling throughout Europe and all :)

I plan to continue being a member after my trip ends. Unfortunately, I still don't think I'll have a couch available but I'll definitely be free for coffee! Someday in the hopefully-near future, my couch will come (and those who will surf on it too!)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I'm a newcomer in the couch-surfing experience but I hope that status will change very soon :)

I can find just about anything interesting...really. However, the things I'm most interested/fascinated by are movies (I'm such a movie fiend!), architecture, learning about different cultures, learning different languages, finding those random but oh-so-treasureable random moments, making sure I'm taking advantage of every opportunity I can, volunteering for African aid organizations (mostly online right now but I hope to actually work for one in the future), campaigning/petitioning for human rights

Movies, Music, and Books could be my 3 favorite things to do...ever. I'd probably rearrange them to my order of preference though: MOVIES, Books, Music.
I love all types of movies (except vampire movies...*shudder*). I love ones about traveling (Before Sunrise/Before Sunset, Motorcycle Diaries), I love love love Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, all romantic comedies, dramas. I love them ALL!
For books, my favorite genre is historical fiction. One of my favorite authors is Steve Berry. However, I also LOVE the Harry Potter Series, The Time Traveler's Wife, and basically anything that is powerful enough to transport me to its world. No matter what type of book it is, if it can do that, I'll love it.
