ABOUT ME

interested in the world and how it works, love reading books/magazines/newspapers, think that every place can be charming, travelling is great because it makes you change your views/attitutedes, love my own country for its landscape, food, mountains, lakes, the peoples humour but also love to travel the world

PHILOSOPHY

It's from Nicolas de Chamfort, but I don't quite know how to translate it. Basically it says: Days on which you don't laugh are the most wasted ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly I am a host cause i love the idea of meeting people from all around the world when I am "stuck" at home. I always had really nice and interesting people surfing on my couch, and its always been a lot of fun. From time to time I am surfing on other peoples couches or just meet up with them as I usually travel together with my boyfriend and our common travel time is the most precious time for us. I think CS is a good way to get to know a city/place from antoher perspective, get new friends, get to see what you wouldn't see being just a tourist stuck between hotels, beaches and sightseeing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

dancing barefoot in the green fields of northern ireland during a music festival, in one hand a pint of beer; seen the spectacular northern light when coming out in the evening from a restaurant in Nuuk (Greenland); walking down the road in Paris reaching the Eiffel Tower just when the sun put everything in a orange-red-yellow light; standing on the balkony of the world second largeest building in Bukarest (Romania; Palace of the Parliament)
