ABOUT ME

Am a peace loving person, like discussions with different kinds of people, even though am learning that sometimes silence is needed for a better understanding, and especially for healing. Sometimes the most important trip one does is into one's one mind. Cannot accept injustice and unfair conditions. I love Finnish nature and the forests where I grew up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer a place to stay overnight (and show people around in town), and would like to have a place to stay overnight sometimes when I travel.

Have been staying with a couple of great persons in Oxford, Britain.

Interests

Writing and reading , history, arts museums, nature, long walks. At home I attend a literature circle and sometimes go to concerts and art exhibitions. In a new town/city like just wandering about and seeing new people and different architecture, but also enjoy activities, just need someone to suggest them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two things! Have given birth to two amazing, gorgeous, indefinitely valuable children.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach people Finnish, for example, i could help with cooking, be a test reader of texts (maybe shortish ones :-))

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bring food and help with cooking, the host can practice English with me (if not native speaker). I could be a listener, if there's something one needs to talk about seriously.
