About Me

Been living in Madrid since September 2013, but am originally from the United States (Texas). I love traveling and have been all over Europe and a little bit in my own continent. CS has opened a whole new world and I only wish I had started using it sooner. In the short time I've been using it, I've met so many interesting, funny, and generous people while traveling. I am excited to travel to new places, not only to see the sights, but also to meet new people and experience new cultures with locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only recently started using CS, but every single one of my experiences, as a host and as a surfer has been amazing. By far, the best part of traveling has been meeting Couchsurfers and exploring new places and making new friends along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Excavating a Maya ruin, with a perfectly preserved temple and ballcourt, in the rainforests of Belize. Driving the infamous C7 Highway, also known as 'Ceausescu's Folly' in the Făgărășan Mountains of Romania. And accidentally driving down the tiniest merchant-lined caddesi in Çesme, Turkey, with my friends in the backseat laughing hysterically, a few Turkish policemen on the corner, and somehow making it through without killing anyone or getting arrested.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make you pancakes. And borscht.
