CURRENT MISSION To see as much of this beautiful country that GOD created and share the experience with alll who will listen ABOUT ME Goat and I are historical enthusiasts - we did reenactments for years and have spent most of the last nine years living somewhat primitively - We love to teach our knowledge of the edible and medical plants and history of the area. We live simply and love deeply. PHILOSOPHY Life is way to short to live it chasing the almighty buck and the "stuff" that goes with it - Gods has given us so many things to enjoy including each other. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosting is the thing we like to do. A natural caretaker and we love to feed people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE WE have had 3 couch surfers and a dog - alll great folks and really enjoyed their company

Had the eagles fly below me on the Continental Divide Literally - had my head in the clouds Saw "hundreds" of elk migrating down the mountain after a winter storm The birth of a foal by one of our mares

WE love to see people learn to listen to the quiet up on a mountain side - We love to see the fear change to a smile when you put someone on horseback for the first time - Love sharing the bounty of the forest with others and watch their expression as they experience their first wild rasberry or strawberry or trout
