CURRENT MISSION

I have several missions: I am out to write, play and listen to as much music that is soulful, honest, funky, intense, energising, spiritual, engaging, uncomprimising but indescriminate as possible. I suppose my other objectives stem from this

ABOUT ME

Hey mates, I'm Sean and I'm 22. I've had a chin beard for 3 years and I once ate 15 Shredded Wheat (the big ones) in about half an hour.

PHILOSOPHY

To be honest, without sounding too pretentious, I believe strongly in art and the staggering power and influence of it. If it only keeps our minds foccussed and committed to it for a short time, it is at the very least a short time that one is incapable of thinking about the other stresses and strains of life. It proves that most human beings are perfectly capable of ignoring an urge to fight, destroy and abuse and simply channel their thoughts and feelings into a display of artistic creativity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am yet to actually stay or be visted by a member of the CS Project, and therefore cannot say that as yet I have participated in the project. However, my intentions are to use the project as a means of more easily socailly interacting with people living in various parts of the world that I wish to visit. I am particularly interested in learning about different musical cultures and wish to exchange musical ideas and philosophies with as many musicians as possible. I want to offer my own music (as performance and discussion) in return for this.

Music is my main interest, writing, recording and performing it. But also I am interested in the different attitudes and approaches to music and the various roles music plays in international society. Among my other passions and interests are travelling, skateboarding, circus skills (mainly juggling and diablo) and other physical arts and martial arts.
