Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've lived in shared/communal housees for years and so there's always beens a steady stream of visitors, friends of housemates, couchsurfers, touring bands, etc.
started doing 'proper' couchsurfing a a few years ago on and off. Have stayed with people all over the place and had plenty come to us in Bristol where I lived before.
Interests
playing the piano and keyboard and trying to learn the cornet and other instruments. cooking things that don't contain meat. freeganism and hitchhiking and freecycling and bicycling. scandinavia. minimising my carbon footprint. open fires (indoors and out). reading books and newspapers and sometimes magazines too. finding things on the street that are worth picking up and taking home. wilderness, forests, seas, lakes, oceans and wide open spaces. baking bread. day trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've met so many amazing people on journeys, both from couchsurfing and by other random ways. I've got close friends that I've had for more than 10 years now that I met travelling around Europe. There's lots of mountains and scenic train journeys and quirky cafes and stuff like that too see when you're travelling, but nothing beats making a friend.
