One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked from Prince Edward Island to Newfoundland carrying a dead lobster in a plastic bag. A driver had given it to me as a kind gesture, after leaving his estranged father's funeral in Charlottetown, where he had discovered his family were lobster fishermen. He gave it to me to eat, which I finally did on the ferry from Sydney to St John's after a day an a half of carrying it with me, on countless rides. Luckily it was the middle of summer, and many of the rides were on their way to various camping destinations, with coolers in tow -where I was able to put my lobster on ice during the ride. I wouldn't call it 'amazing' per se, but it was pretty memorable, that's for sure.
Teach, Learn, Share
A stranger once told me "sometimes you have to give up really good, to find amazing." I still hate to say goodbye when I am traveling, but this makes it easier to know some other great thing is just around the bend.
What I Can Share with Hosts
