About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I feel like my purpose is to spread as much love and peace around as I can.
ABOUT ME
I lead my life with love. Everything else is secondary. If I could spend all my time outside, I would. I love yoga, and sometimes its the only thing. I'm at a transitional stage in my life - just quit my job to travel before I start grad school in the spring! I'm excited to see wonderful things, hear beautiful music, and meet awesome people. I cook delicious vegetarian foods and I enjoy chatting over coffee in the mornings. I'm working on living life a little more slowly.
PHILOSOPHY
"I wanted movement and not a calm course of existence. I wanted excitement and danger and the chance to sacrifice myself for my love. I felt in myself a superabundance of energy which found no outlet in our quiet life." Leo Tolstoy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love couch surfing! Although I haven't yet surfed, I have hosted several surfers and every person I have met has been amazing. I will begin my travels starting this week, actually!
Interests
Dang, I'm interested in pretty much everything. I'm open to all ideas and ways of life. My personal interests include an obsession with epidemiology, as that is what I'm pursuing in grad school. I'm a firm believer in that knowledge is power and I'm a learner at heart, so I'm interested in learning, seeing, knowing all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once had a conversation, in american sign language, with a 70 year old deaf man. We talked about submarines, yes, submarines. Sounds small, I realize, but it was epic to my soul.
Teach, Learn, Share
Practicing yoga on a regular basis can actually REVERSE heart disease. And in fact, many people diagnosed with the disease are now turning to a few weeks of yoga, rather than undergoing a massive heart surgery! Isn't that amazing?
