About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stop thinking so much and do it already!!!

ABOUT ME

I live in Alaska but grew up in Nebraska and Arizona. I work in the Engineering / Construction field and work my butt off in the summer. In the winter I'm a ski bum or travel bug.

I'm an easygoing guy who is fairly quite, but I definitely like to have fun, laugh, and get out to explore. I have great respect for others. It doesn't matter what you look like, how much money you make, or who you choose to love. We are are all people of the same earth and we should share it with everyone.

PHILOSOPHY

What am I waiting for?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Feb. 1st 2010
I just participated in a large CS group doing the Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand. Approximately 80 surfers participated in the event... I met so many new interesting people. It was a fantastic time that I will never forget.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My surfing experience is rather limited. I began CS back in 2010 and started out traveling throughout New Zealand with a bunch of CS's. I'm getting more involved again. I miss the interaction and connection of my fellow world travelers. I recently hosted some surfers and really enjoyed the experience.

Interests

I enjoy many outdoor activities such as backpacking, snow skiing, sea kayaking, packrafting, as well as many others.
I also enjoy music of all kinds. I play the drums and some guitar, and I like watching live music whenever I can catch a good show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is hard to narrow down... I will have to think about this one.

OK, I'll go with a 28 day rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. That was one experience I will never forget!!!
