About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make a difference
ABOUT ME
* I have worked way, way, way too much and now aim to travel and live life a lot more and work a lot less
* As part of this change of direction in life I spent 2016 travelling, re-investing in myself and studying becoming a Personal Trainer (gym instructor) in Australia, Dive Master (Thailand), Yoga teacher and Reiki Master (India), Ayurveda Massage (Nepal) and Thai, Oil and Foot massage (Thailand) allowing me the option to now pursue my interests whilst traveling the world
PHILOSOPHY
A wise man talks a little but says a lot, a fool talks a lot but says very little
Interests
* I think travelling is alot better than holidaying
* I appreciate life and always try and find time to volunteer when on the road
* I find it hard to walk past a bookstore irrespective of how many books I am already reading
* I love anything to do with food - from having a vegetable patch to cooking and of course eating
* I am a glutton for useless information and skills - for example making origami and balloon animals
* I love animals to the extent of being vegetarian and find the wagging tail of a dog or purring of a cat so satisyfing and I have lots of photos of dogs/cats from around the world to proove the point
* I am trying my hardest to maintain a healthy lifestyle through healthy eating, yoga and the gym

Music, Movies, and Books
* Give me a book anyday! Although I can be persuased to watch a movie if pop corn is involved...
* I have a love of books and see them as both a means of relaxation and self education and although I read everything I definitely prefer non-fiction
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Impossible to limit it too just one -
* Running an orphanage, community group and school in Uganda (including buying land and building a brand new home for our kids and school for the community)
* Visiting prisoners inside a prison in Malawi
* Being one metre away from a flow of 800 degree lava from Volcan Pacaya in Guatemala - 6 months later the volcano erupted!
* Volunteering in Cambodia (and raising $10,000 for the cause), Vietnam, Laos, Guatemala and Mexico
* Volunteering in a refuge centre in Myanmar for 2 months where I designed & made walking sticks, lifting aide's & mobility skateboard's for stroke, polio and paralysis victims
* Meditating (at least trying too) with Monks in Laos
* Hearing first hand the stories of a Tibetan polictical prisoner living in exile in India, Tsunami survivor in Sri Lanka and of Holocaust survivors in Sydney
Teach, Learn, Share
* I can do some some basic origami including (I think) pretty cool and easy origami's made from paper money which are great for leaving as tip's
* I love languages and can speak "bit's" of several languages so would love to keep learning
