There is nothing better than traveling and experiencing other cultures. Couchsurfing is an easy, cheap and cool way to do this, especially because of the interaction with the local hosts.

I love music, cinema and books. Some of my favorite bands are The National, Foals, The Cure, Tame Impala, The Smiths, Arcade Fire, Slowdive, Sufjan Stevens, Haim and The xx. I love foreign cinema and animation, everything Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki, Andrei Tarkovsky, Wong Kar-wai, Wes Anderson and Asghar Farhadi. I love to read and some of my favorite authors are Virginia Woolf, Fernando Pessoa, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., José Saramago, Jane Austen, Thomas Hardy, J.D. Salinger, E.E. Cummings and T.S. Eliot.
