Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSUFRING EXPERIENCE:
This upcoming trip to New York and San Antonio will be my first couchsurfing experience; can't wait for it.
WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING:
It's not traveling if you don't know the natives and have a companion to share your feeling.
Interests
Comic book, cosplayer and miniwargaming fan; I enjoy collecting and painting miniatures.
I also participating in the school's competitive paintball team, probably going to play in the tournament next year.
I have a great interest in seeing other people and cultures, understanding the difference and similarities. I love the freedom and spontaneousness of traveling so sometimes, you will see me going out without any travel plan, just walking to random places. To me, the destination is not as important as what you see and feel along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most types of movies, except for horror; I just can't stand seeing people getting killed (stuffs like Saw, Jaws, Piranha or Final Destination).
Favorite movies: Watchmen, the Matrix franchise (yes, the second and third movies are not that bad to me), Fight Club, The Dark Knight Trilogy, MegaMind, Kungfu Panda. Interstellar is good, but I don't think I have fully understood it.
I'm going to do a Christopher Nolan marathon so the list can definitely extend.
I listen to mostly US-UK music, games and movies OST. My favorite artists/bands are: Linkin Park, Slip Knot, (when I feel angry or sad), Iron Maiden, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Glitch Mob, Ed Sheeran, Secret Garden and many more.
I like books that are a little bit strange or books which I can learn from.
Favorite books: Fightclub (better than the movie), The Scarlet Letter, How to make friends and influence people, Thick Face Black Heart, How to get ideas, Seeds for the Soul, Happiness now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to Singapore alone when I was 15 years old and lived in a small motel adjacent to a red light district. Don't worry, nothing happened.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning: cooking, piano.
I can speak English pretty well but I'm still trying to get better at it.
Growing up in a traditional Asian city and coming to America to study, my view of life and moral basis are a combination of two different cultures. Surely you may find it interesting.
