My husband and I live on a beautiful lake in South Dakota. We garden, bike ride, hike , swim and fish for our leisure. I love cooking and am quite accomplished in creating dishes that are nutritious and tasty. We attend the local Catholic church. We especially enjoy spending time with friends in the evenings at a campfire. We love to travel and often scuba dive where ever our adventures take us. Our lives are full of work and play - it seems there is seldom a dull moment at our house.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and giving them a sample of our beautifiul area. We have the time and energy to be great host and am hoping someday we can couch surf with another host family.
Music, Movies, and Books
You will usually hear country music being played at our house. Favorite movie genre is drama's. I enjoy books that tell a true story and are heartfelt but not romance novels.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I was a Special Education teacher for 30 years - I think the most amazing thing I ever did was teach some very special children that others had given up on.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are able to teach others how to fish and enjoy swimming, kayaking and other water recreation. We can also share our bread making abilities.
